Service description

If you wish to connect to the call center in an emergency situation, you can manually trigger a call by pressing the SOS Button near the map light with the ignition switch or power mode in ON.

Once connected to the call center, an Emergency Response Specialist at the Mitsubishi Connect Call Center can work with the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (911 center) for emergency response.

Connecting from your vehicle

  1. Flip open the Button Cover (C) located on the overhead console.

    • (A) SOS Button

    • (B) Information Button

    • (C) Button Cover

  2. Press the SOS Button (A) and request the operator for emergency assistance.

Note

  • For more details regarding the SOS Button on the overhead console, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual.

  • Please note that all Safeguard and Remote services are subject to cellular network availability. When cellular network coverage is poor, SOS Emergency Assistance may not function properly.

  • The factory-installed audio system is muted while on the call with the call center.

  • If the registration is not completed beforehand, the system will emit a sound indicating that the call center cannot be connected by pressing the SOS Button. Refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for details.

  • When the SOS Button is pressed, information about your vehicle, its location, and its condition is reported to the call center.
